I dont know about newer cars, but I brought in a 1967 mustang i had recently purchased. Tranny ran great except for a metallic sound. Village Transmission diagnosed poor install fixed it. cost me $1000. went to pick it up, now the transmission slips. Thier excuse...broken motor mount. I'm no dummy but that makes no sense. but to be fair before i complained i fixed the motor mount, Amazingly still slips! Took it back, they put in some aftermarket tranny fix from a bottle which did little to help then offiered to charge me another $100 to change the fluid fix! The record reflects that originally I told them it might be better to just rebuild it when I first brought it in but they said we dont recommend rebuilding unless it definatly needs it. Well duh, after your initial fix for a grand, it still needs it. I am sure if i brought it back for the rebuild they would happily charge me another grand. signed... should gone to someone who works on older classics

The staff are always so honest and fair. They explain to you what to expect from the service and would never do something before you have given the okay. They have many complimentary services that other mechanics do not. I would recommend their services any day!

Very friendly and fast. When they changed the oil in my car they did a quick check to see how everything else was running, and then explained it all to me very patiently (but not at all condescending). A very good experience.

Friendly staff was able to schedule my oil change and inspection same-day, which was great. Charged a reasonable price, and informed me of a dirty air filter and DIDN'T pressure me to buy anything, which I really appreciated. A nice change from those shifty Jiffy-Lube practices. Highly recommended.

I was extremely happy with the service from Village Transmission. The staff (Dan in particular) was courteous, and kept me informed of the repair work, any delays, cost changes etc... I would use them again.
