They are the best - I literally will not be going anywhere else again!

Took my car (that I bought used from a dealership a few months back) in for a couple of minor complaints that were "potentially covered" by my warranty (FYI: Reputable warranty companies are VERY hard to find, mine is not good. But I digress.) I opted for a brake check and was very glad I did. While no one wants to take a car in for minor issues that should only cost a few hundred dollars only to find out there are a couple pretty serious issues that are going to cost a few thousand, I was glad about their commitment to the safety of my vehicle. (Really, it's just MY luck to go in for a faulty back up camera and then find out there's a hole in my rotor and my transmission is leaking. Groan!) Because of the much higher than expected expense I showed the diagnostic and quote to both my (out-of-state) service writer friend and another mechanic. Both agreed that the quote wasn't unfair and one told me a service I could save a little on. The mechanic did accidentally complete a repair (minor, for the passenger window) that I had turned down for the time being to save a little money short-term but Curt (the service writer on my repair) called me immediately and explained the mistake to let me know that the repair would not cause my bill to go up any, but would appear on the completed invoice. Curt was extremely attentive and went out of his way to draft a number of quotes to help me decide which problems I could address immediately and which could wait. I've had my car back for a couple of weeks now and waited to write this up in case I noticed any latent complaints or repair quality issues, but I haven't experienced any problems whatsoever. While this shop is not the place to go if you're looking for the lowest rate (mechanics typically between $150-$200 per hour, this one is right about mid-range, so still affordable) it IS a good place to go if you're looking for quality and professionalism. I will not hesitate to bring my car back should I need repairs in the future! (P.S. Curt, if you see this I want to thank you and your mechanics again for your attention to the safety of my car, rather than only addressing my complaints. I'm extremely grateful that you all know cars so well and could clearly point out to me what the real issues were!)

This involved a difficult problem, diagnosed and repaired to give me my old truck back in EXCELLENT working condition, for less than what they REALISTICALLY should have charged me! I VERY much appreciate the value, and quality of the service I received at Village Transmission. Ben Foster

Brought in my 95 Monte Carlo which had bearing going out on water pump. Also had been leaking oil for some time. They diagnosed the problem and gave me a reasonable estimate for repairs. Car was repaired and now is running great. A new lease on an older life you might say. Satisfied with the process and the repair. Good shop that has been in business for a long time due to serving customers well.

Dear Craig: Thank you for leaving us a review! We really appreciate you. Sincerely, Curt and the Service Team at Village Transmission.
