Village Transmission was referred to me, as I had not heard of them or their work before. The staff worked to understand the issue of why I brought my car in, asked clarifying questions, and took good notes. I was impressed with the pictures and videos describing what the mechanics inspected, any issues, and their recommendations. Also, the notifications I got when my car was ready were great. The only thing is that I had hoped to get somewhat of an estimated/expected time frame when I initially dropped the car off, but everything else was extremely smooth and all the staff were transparent and friendly.

Excellent service every time!

I was given two options to repair a transmission shifter cable problem. One usually worked and was far less expensive than the alternative. Naturally, I chose the less expensive option. But mine was not the usual one The shifter failed to work again in less than a day. But Village Transmission took care of me. They did the other repair, credited me for work already done, and paid for the tow truck to bring the vehicle back to the shop. I felt I was treated fairly, and learned that the shop was extremely competent and customer friendly. I recommend them highly.

Great staff and service

Excellent service. Fixed several problems in one visit. Neighborhood was 100% correct!

An auto shop that more than satisfies. They diagnosed what was needed on my '99 Camry. Then performed the work which fixed my overheating engine problem for a fair (not cheap) price. I especially appreciated Josh's excellent customer service and engine knowledge. Then, a few weeks later the new belts they changed started squealing more and more- a natural occurance with new belts that had been changed on the last hot summer day, then the weather got colder as fall arrived. I called them about it and they got me in the next day to tighten the new belts. They performed this sevice while I waited- took about 30 minutes. My Camry runs like a top! Such a pleasure to drive a very quiet car. Thanks, Josh and the excellent team at Village Transmission! I'll be back.

I was thrilled to find a local mechanic for my truck. Village Auto was direct, up front with costs, and provided excellent communication throughout the entire process. They were up front about potential addition costs but in fact my total bill was less than the original quote. Very professional all the way around. Customer service was exceptional!
