Great first time experience for oil change and general checkup. The tech did a great job and sent a detailed report including photos and suggestions of items that needed attention. As expected there were some minor things but no work was allowed to proceed until my permission was given. I also learned that car tires may need to be replaced, even with good tread wear remaining, if sidewalls are starting to crack or rot. Good catch on the inspection!

All shops are very close in pricing. So, next I look at knowledgeable staff and time frame to complete the repairs. I have found that Village Transmission exceeds in knowledge and they excel in a willingness to accommodate customers time frames. Have used Village 3 times and no disappointments.

Based on my initial experience, I am giving Village Transmission 5 stars. The service was a transmission drain and fill. Everything was smooth - the cost was spot on - actually less than the original quote. Caitlin worked with me well. What especially resulted in the 5 start review was the quality of the complimentary inspection - which included pictures of measurements of several key indicators, e.g. status of battery with picture of measurement and likewise of several fluids. I will be taking my vehicle there again. Plus you can get breakfast/lunch at Family Pancake House right around the corner - a very solid restaurant.
