People are always so skeptical about mechanic shops and I can assure you this place is legit! I bought my car here for the second time in 2 years. The staff is intelligent, communicative and have empathy. The mechanics do fantastic work! Both times I have come here my car is fixed and my bill is less than expected. As someone who makes a living repairing things, I feel 100% at ease about the job getting done to the highest standards here. Much respect.

The people at Village Transmission & Auto Clinic are very professional. They did the routine maintenance we'd discussed, and the car was ready in just a few hours. I especially like how well they communicate, before, during, and after the work is done. I will continue to use them for my vehicles.

Pretty pricey place but they have a lot of overhead with their front desk staff. You're not just dealing with mechanics. That being said the customer service was good. It did take them 3 days to finish my car which was surprising. I also has to call and ask when my car would be ready which was a little frustrating. Biggest thing to note: After spending $700+ the tech did not tighten my lug nuts on my one wheel. Really not great and pretty dangerous mistake. I wish they had offered me a discount on a return service for the future. Needless to say I wont be back.

Super great place. They provide free inspections of all your vehicles systems and fluids as well as a full point markup on your cars condition. You get an email with everything they checked and all the work they did so the communication is super solid. Occasionally they forget to text you that your car is done, but once you get the email of everything they checked you can almost always go pick it up. Great place, great prices, great people

I had a very refreshing experience with Village auto repair and Transmission Repair service. They’re off Aurora near the old Safeway near Edmonds Way. Not far from Costco. I was referred to Village by a competitor shop. My transmission was really acting strange. Several knowledgeable mechanics told me it was likely the torque converter. This model expedition is known to have that problem. I took the car in to Village fully expecting to buy a new transmission for possibly $6k. They did a complete diagnostic of the transmission and concluded all it might need was to service the transmission and new filter etc. They performed the service and that’s all it needed. They serviced the transmission, engine oil change and fluid service and complete computer diagnostic test of the entire vehicle including other systems like brakes etc. Had they taken advantage of my ignorance and sold me a new transmission or rebuilt mine I would’ve paid the bill and never known I was taken advantage of. That didn’t happen. Instead of $6k+ it was $900. That’s damn honest and calls for a 5* review… keep these guys in mind when you need work done. Village is now our families go to shop for auto repairs. Thank you Village for being honest.
