One of the few auto shops in the greater Seattle area which has someone at the front desk giving customer service full time. The clutch went out on my truck and they replaced it in about 2 days and instead of scrapping some of the parts they were able to rework them which saved me a lot of money. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and they even let me go into the mechanics area and look at all the work they did to my car. Another good thing they do at village transmission is they call with updates, its just down right discourteous and unprofessional when mechanics have your care and forget to call you with updates, I was so relieved that I didn't have to hound to find out what was happening with my truck. I had a 5 star experience and I have recommended them to my family and friends.

I had an extremely hard to diagnose brake problem - myself and two separate mechanics agreed it was the master cylinder, so I had Village replace it. Unfortunately, that didn't fix the issue. I took the car back and left it with them, and they spent 7 days diagnosing it at no extra charge. It turned out to be an ABS issue which was a more expensive fix. Even though we had all agreed it was a master cylinder, they generously adjusted the final bill because the first repair wasn't the real issue. They have more than earned my business and recommendation.

I recently brought both of my cars in to Village Transmission and was extremely pleased with the service and the quality of work done. Michael Skipworth is a very talented ASE Certified Technician that performs high quality work, and is very honest with his assessment of what needs to be done, and what does not. Being able to trust the people who work on my vehicles is very important to me. Chip Dugan is very friendly and helpful, and was able to get both of my vehicles in the shop in a timely manner. One car had broken down on the side of the road and I needed to get it fixed quickly, and he scheduled me right in. I am very pleased with Village Transmission, and would highly recommend them.

I was recommended to VTA by a good friend, so glad I took their recommendation! VTA is the only shop I have taken my vehicle to that didn't treat me like a stupid woman. They didn't try to get me to have things done to my SUV that weren't necessary. Cheerful, knowledgeable and willing to get me in as soon as possible, which is usually same day or the following, or willing to give you option of dropping your rig off. I will continue to use VTA until my driving days are done.😀

This was a "special" transaction, an older obsolete transmission in a car so big it has it's own zip code. This was a job that would have been easy to turn away as Village is a very busy shop. It went quite well and works beautifully.

As always excellent

The fine folks at Village Transmission, both at the front desk and in the shop are fantastic. I own a 2003 Dodge RAM 1500 but rarely drive it because it is constantly being borrowed by my stepson and wife. Both have taken it there for service. Transmission failed, they rebuilt it. Steering rack failed, they fixed that too. It must be confusing when you have three different people making service calls on the same vehicle but they have always been able to sort out the who's who on this truck and keep it running like new (has over 130,00 miles now). Hopefully sometime soon, I'll have my turn to drive it. I highly recommend Village Transmission to anyone but particularly truck owners.
