I have been taking my car hereto Village Transmission for the last couple of years. I choose to take my car here because I have always been treated fairly, they do quality work and they do it in a timely manner. Most recently they found a leak in my throttle body while performing work on my engine. Long story short a replacement part would have cost over $1000, but their tech was able to pull mine apart, clean everything and replace some o-rings for a much easier to handle cost. I will continue to bring my car here for services as well as continue to recommend them to my friends and family.

The integrity of the service advisors is what keeps me going back to Village Transmission.

We had a very good experience with Village Transmission, thorough work & great customer service from Chip at their place of business...

Took my SUV in to have rear heat diagnosed. Mechanic broke knobs on rear controls because he was unsure how to dismantle. Owner refused to make it right and referred me to Infinity on my dime. I do not recommend this place.

Scott, Are you sure you have the right shop? I just checked your service history and I don't see where we have ever done any work for you? If we broke something we will always take ownership and make it right!

We recently "switched" to Village Transmission primarily for convenience of location. I have a small company and can't afford to be without one of our service vehicles for long. Village Transmission does a great job of taking care of their customer. They get us in and out as quickly as possible at the same time making sure the job is done right. Village Transmission is fair, honest and communication is top notch. Thanks for the great service!

You get what pay for, and that is quality service! These guys know their stuff and don't beat around the bush like a lot of the other local car repair shops you see in and around Edmonds. Even though you may find lower prices elsewhere, they are still competitive and do high quality work. They gave me some great advice and will probably save me money in the long run. They're crew are all friendly and they accommodated me in every way. Thank you guys for the great checkout and helping me establish a game plan for my vehicle! UPDATE: 10/14/15 Just got the some engine oil seals replaced and they found some other parts damaged due to leaking oil. The mechanic saved me a ton of money by offering to provide the labor for free and charged me just for the parts needed saving me over $400 worth of labor cost. Engine runs smoother and now I have peace of mind while out and about!

A problem that ended well. Early this year I took my old '72 Dodge pickup in to VT&AC for some TLC. This included hose and belt replacement, radiator flush, tune up, and replaced some old gaskets. They called and said I needed a new brake master cylinder. They did the work and shortly there after, I started to have some brake dragging problems when the truck warmed up. I took it back twice for them to figure out. They said the problem was not with the master cylinder and I should take the truck back to the brake shop that had replaced the brakes and wheel cylinders 6 months earlier. I did and they discovered in about 10 minutes that the wrong master cylinder had been installed. The VT&AC tech did not notice the minor visual difference between a master cylinder intended for manual brakes and one that was intended for power brakes. To be fair, this truck was 20 years old when the technician was born so this was an oddball case. I had the master cylinder replaced by the first brake shop and the truck works great now. I met with David at VT&AC about the matter. He gave me a check that covered the full price for the other shop replacing the master cylinder. I can't ask for better than that. I'll keep using VT&AC for general service but I'll keep a closer eye on the oddball stuff. An honest and reputable service shop is hard to find. Village Transmission & Auto Clinic is honest.

I went to village with what I believed to be 2 problems, faulty spark plugs and a slipping transmission. I was convinced that the truck needed transmission work and they told me that it was only spark plugs and coil wires that needed replacing. I kept insisting that the tranny needed work and they gently persuaded me to wait until the spark plugs and coil wires were changed. They were absolutely right about the problem and my tranny is OK. Bottom line is that a less honest shop would have "worked" on the tranny and taken me for a few hundred dollars more. These guys diagnosed the problem, fixed it and provided great customer service and a loaner car. A+++. I'll always call these guys first from now on.
