Was having an issue with the trans on my Dakota. The technician at Village arrived at the same conclusion I had based on using my own diagnostic app. More importantly, Brian was able to get me in on short notice and I was up and running in less than two days. I was impressed with the friendly and knowledgeable staff, the cleanliness of the shop, and the price quote was competitive with a couple other places. This company quoted $9,000 to rebuild my transmission. $1,300 in parts to fix so they're charging people $7,700 in labor. FYI to people who are nieve on transmission rebuilds, it costs nowhere near this amount to rebuild a transmission. Reliable transmission and brake, TR transmission, honest transmission and auto repair All quoted me 3200 to 4000.
